Skiing had their resort rankings in the latest issue, and Breck won best park. It quoted somebody from ns in the opening paragraph talking about how awesome it is. The quote was something like 'think of an orgasm. Then multiply It by another orgasm to the fourth power. THAT is breck's park.'. Anyway, kind of a pointless thread but I felt like sharing because it made me laugh and felt like I had to share SKIING MAGAZINE's awesomeness.
 
Skiing magazine is affiliated with Warren Miller Entertainment, which is filing suit against Level 1. So, screw them.
 
Warren Miller himself is a good guy, he's in his 80s and working with Level 1. Warren Miller Entertainment has AIDS.
 
They are under a giant umbrella company and what do you see in their magazine? 30...40% advertisements? If it isn't an ad for a Rolex or BMW than it is a guide....to stuff they are paid to place at certain levels.

Deer Valley.... #1 resort? Yea right. Im going to Utah and I don't give a shit about Deer Valley, no one has said a damn thing good about it, giving me no reason to spend $86 on a ticket there....

 
Maybe it is SKI magazine that rates Deer Valley #1

Either way...they are both SKI and Skiing, owned by the same company.

I think it would be funny if the same company had two #1 resorts. One in one magazine, one in another.
 
Freeskier magazine is 90% advertisements or a gear guide, so actually Skiing magazines articles are much better and more plentiful even if a few of them are teaching you how to spend $8000 in a weekend trip.
