Some lady Just jumper off a bridge onto the interstate and landed 4 feet from my car going 65mph

and thank god me and the group of 7 other cars taking up all three lanes all missed her, and eachother.
But she landed in the middle lane which I was in, and i seriously missed her head by about 6 inches, i probably ran over her hair.
We all just slammed on our brakes and swerved, and some how none of us hit eachother, then we all parked out cars in the middle of 6 ath eastbound and federal and sprinted back to the lady to see if she was alive and stop traffic.
She was alive, everybody missed her, she was talking and tring to get up, so someone immobilize her, and a ambulance was there in 45 seconds since there were a block away.

totally, not making fun of it or anything because suicide it totally not cool, but if someone tried to kill themselves and can't even do that right? I feel for them, fo real
 
Alright so after a stiff drink and a cig my nerves are a little better so im going to explain what happend a little better.

I am driving eastbound on us 6th ave towards Denver, its about 8pm and I am in a group of 7 people, I am in the front in in the middle, there are cars in all three lanes and the same behind us, we are all going about 60 ish and are all about equal to each other.
So about 20 feet before the bridge I see something big in the center lane and think its a trashbag or something, and when I get about 5 feet away me and the other cars all realize its a fucking lady, and thank god none of us froze and panicked, the car to the right of me slammed on her brakes and swerved to the left shoulder, and I didnt even have time to react I just pulled my ebrake and swerved to the right, about then lock eyes with this lady, and see the fear and death in in her eyes and end up missing her by inches, my skip mark was 6-7 inches from her head when I ran back to see if she was dead.
So about 40 feet passed her we all finally skid to a stop, and I throw my car in neutral and put the brake on and get out. Me and the guy next to me look at each other and just start running as fast as we can waving our hands trying to get the 20-30 cars coming down the highway going 65 to stop, and thank god there are 2 cars parked behind her in all but the far fast lane, so 911 is called. We imobilze her and they get there within a min. there are soon about 30 emergency people there and all of the people who were in the innitial group who almost hit her and stayed to talk to detectives.
The lady is alive I think, she fell about 30 feet, but there was also ALOT of blood around her head, but she was moving, and screaming at the EMTS.
But seriously my life almost changed so much tonight, if I was looking down at a TXT, lighting a cig, playing with my ipod etc, or even just looking at the car next to me, I would have killed this lady, and splattered her brains all over the highway, and have to live with that image of her when we locked eyes. I dont belive in god really, but somthing saved her, since it was pitch black, we were going 65 mph and she didnt get hit.
And I would of been the one who killed her, so Im still really shaken up and freaking out and cant stop thinkin of when we locked eyes its really scary.
but yea, drive safe and PAY ATTENTION TO THE ROAD, you never know it just might save somebodys life!
Some how all the cars in the group all swerved and missed her, and none of us hit eachother since everybody swerved at the same time. \
 
Holy crap man. I helped immobalize a kid that crashed ner where i was working and it was a bit of a mind fuck. You think the person should be dead but their clinging to life in front of you, shit is fuuucckked
 
damn thats crazy. what im wondering though, did she try to kill herself or did she somehow accidentally fall from the bridge?
 
i really hope this never happens to me. i'd probably freeze or something. +k for pretty much saving her life or at least not killing her.
 
Props on reacting so quickly man. Whenever i have a close call, i realize how easily i could have been fucked if i had been sending a text or fiddling with the radio.
 
I couldn't find the story on 9news or anywhere. But props man I can't even fathom the idea of myself in your shoes.
 
and it happened at 8pm on the traffic report on the way home it just said 6th closed at federal for a police investigation. This is the investigation, and when I asked they think she jumped, but were it happend their are gas stations on all the corners near the bridge, so if someone pushed her off im sure they will know
 
you do know the e brake locks your back wheels right? i think you wouldve had more control if you just used the foot brake. but props on not hitting her. that must of been crazy scary
