1. Skiing goes best with a side of positivity. Skiing curdles when you add hate.

2. The coolest way to go skiing is with skis. Besides that, it doesn't matter if your pants are tight or loose, if you're running gates or hiking rails, or if your training double 14's or working on the perfect cork 5.

3. Respect gets respect.

With that said, I bid you an incredible 2014/15 season. Savor the stoke.

Born and bred to drink and shred.

Get fucking fired up and share the stoked out there. I'm fucking stoked to hear everyone hootin' and hollerin' through the woods this season on those tasty pow days.

If you see someone trying to stomp any trick no matter how "easy" you may think it is. Offer your advice, I.E, if someone is learning to slide a flat rail give them tips. It's simple.

Cool Reminder Dude! Exactly! It doesn't matter if you're a beginner and flops, as long as you enjoy, it's the one that matters the most! We all deserve to be respected! Have a great ski trip!

Boom.

If you can't have a good time skiing, you should probably kill yourself.

Wait, I think I meant to say if you don't know how to have fun skiing, you don't deserve to have fun.

Wait, something's still not right there. Just have fun and go skiing. Skiing=fun.

But if I'm having all this fun skiing, how can I ever go pro and get that salomon sponsorship I've been dreaming of?

skiing abay each weekend has been a great reminder

You're telling me! I'm at 3 days this season after not skiing due to an acl surgery. I've been getting tips again and I'm only comfortable hitting a box as of right now.

1. I hate almost everything.

2. I hate kooks.

3. I hate you.

Be safe in the backcountry and make sure you have the proper gear, knowledge, and a reliable BC partner before going out.

Instead of giving the new guy at the park shit, try to give them some tips.

You don't even need to offer advice, just give him or her some re-enforcement. Not necessarily because they need it, but because you're always hardest on yourself.

After I eat shit trying to nail down my 7's, if someone skied past and said, "That was sick man, you've almost got it. Keep at it." I'll instantly feel better knowing that not 100% of the people watching think I'm a tool.

Put a smile on your face and spread the love. Too many kids are way too serious out there, will never show any emotion, and/or hide behind their goggles/balaclavas all day.

This is why so many people are scared/intimidated of going into the park or talking with a stranger.

Yeah dude! It's always hardest to stomp new tricks when everyone around you is better so having someone give you positive reinforcement makes you feel better

I think this thread demonstrates the difference between park rats and true bc skiers

I think it shouldn't matter weather or not someone earns or turns. Just don't be a douche regardless.

Get stoked on everything, always remember your on the mountain to get away from reality. Get lost in the moment.

But never forget that the mountain IS reality and if you're not careful it can kill you.
