Some dude died at my mountain saturday

some tourist hit a tree face first right by the chair, he died. it shut down a few runs. i feel sorry for him
 
yeah, its really too bad some small accidents can take the biggest toll. vibes to their family and relatives. Skiing is a dangerous sport, get reminded of that everytime these kind of things happen. People take for granted every run they take and dont get hurt, we need to always be aware of the dangers.
 
it sucks.ive never heard of more deaths on slopes than this year.the sadest thing is that some of those guys are or 15 or younger.shit thats like my age.should be careful on mtn.,and wearing a halmet doesnt make you hurtproof!!
 
whenever i hear something like this i think of a Doug Coombs quote that went something like "I've had so many close friends die skiing that I've almost become numb to it but no matter how hard it is to accept that they died i know they died doing something they loved" basically shit happens but id rather die skiing than get hit by a car or something
