My stupid ass ankles pronate. Does anyone else who suffers from this lame problem have recommendations for boots or for foot beds that can help right my ankles? I think I just need something to provide slightly above average arch support. I am going to a boot fitter in a couple weeks and I'd like to have an idea of what options to discuss with them.

Go to a good Bootfitter and have them make you a good pair of custom footbeds. They will probably run about $150-$250 but are mostdef worth it. I find that the instaprint style thermoplastic customs are easy to work with and a good fitter can do a lot with them to accommodate many foot issues. Get your foot stabilized with a good footbed first then let the fitter punch/grind as necessary to accommodate foot issues

This is purely a footbed solution. Find out who are the good footbed makers in your area and go see them. They will produce the right thing for your foot's specific needs.

As onenerdy says its a footbed which will resolve your issues. Brand wise I would look sidas. The benifit with sidas is the surport can be customised more then any other footbed. It can be made as soft or as stiff as you need. They do require a good fitter to make them though so do some research and find the best fitter you can. If you are also getting new boots get the footbeds made first then try the various boots with the footbed. An inner ankle stretch may be required too if the ankle bone is larger then normal but a good footbed should mean no stretch is needed. Let me know if you have any other questions.
