I currently have Solomon 710 ski binders (yea i kno) and i'm looking to get some s810's. does anybody know if i will need to redrill my skis? any input would be wicked helpful.

skip the 810 and get a pair of 912ti or 914 or 916 or sth16 or equipe997/957.

All of the above are better salomon bindings than the 810

not positive, but I think the 710s (non driver toepiece) have a 3 hole pattern whereas the S810s are a 4 hole in the toe piece, but I could be completely wrong, I think i remember hearing that somewhere though. Also, I wouldnt get S810s, I have broken mine twice so they weren't useable (first time half the heelplate broke off and teh second time the top half of the heelpiece ripped off the bottom half.), They were warranteeable both times, but it still really sucked not having bindings for a couple weeks.

Different hole pattern in the toe for sure. And I'm pretty sure it's different in the heel, but not positive. You will require to re-drill the toe for sure. However, look into the z10 or z12, I believe they share the same toe pattern. Also 810s are teh suck. Big time.

Yea i'm aware of the quality of the 810's but they are definately better than my 710s and 910/912/914 are out of my budget range right now. what are the z10 and z12 equivalent to?
