just curious, what is wrong with the bird? (not trying to start up a hate fest on the bird/ alta). i was there today, and it was pretty great. i am just curious, because on a day like today when it is completely dumping, pretty much anywhere you go, the snow is good..... so enlighten me.
It was good everywhere today. I would go to Solitude tomorrow. At Alta, you will need to ski with your 'bows out because of assholes in 500$ Arc'teryx jackets.
LCC took forever to get out of today. I went to Alta, they had ton of fucking snow.
I am going to Snowbird tomorrow though just because I am on vacation and I haven't been there yet.
Solitude has the least lines from what I've seen this christmas break. Brighton's been packed.
The Canyons was so large that you could actually get away from the crowds if you want, and they have a ton of terrain.
If you can't decide, just get the Altabird pass and decide for yourself.
Everywhere is going to be great tomorrow.
Alta was kinda fuckin dead today. Like it was a decent sized parking lot and it had a good number of cars, and Collins lift had a like 5-7 minute line. But up higher there wasn't any issues.
I hope Snowbird is the same way tomorrow. Alta you could find pow all day, just a little more determination to find it as the day went on.
Snowbird looked pretty busy today, busier than Alta.
Alta was sick today but as i imagine so was everywhere else except the park city resorts cuz really they get alot less snow but solitude would be sick if you know your way around honeycomb
Alta was amazing, the left side of the resort on Supreme was sooooo sick. It did take me 3 hours to get there and 3 hours to get back because of all the traffic though.
And non of those Arcteryx guys has ever given me grief really, its not a big deal. The biggest things is that one guy said my pants were falling down. No big
Supreme bowl was so fucking good, but at the same time extremely sketchy. Rocked the fuck out of my skis trying to find stashes in the chutes. Backside when it opened, so fucking deep.
