after skiing all this season on 181 chronics, i found that they werent very fun as my 100% park ski. this season i wanna try something different, and i have already used invaders two years ago. throw me some suggestions and feedback please. thanks,

o yeah im 6 foot 175 lbs good skier LLoL

urban punx, thalls before 09, alpha 1 (not flexy but theyre rockered), reno rocker (also not that flexy but theyre rockered), anthems, fugitives, and in not sure but ive heard tnks are pretty soft.

I ride TNK's they are not soft at all they used to be before 06-07i think the invader is the most flexible park ski or possible the Armada ARV though it is wide

I ski on 06/07 Foils and after skiing on my buddies Anthems I came to the conclusion that my Foils are WAYYY softer than the Anthems. Therefore, I have 3 words:

FOILS

FOILS

and FOILS

good luck :)

lizzies are possibly the softest, but youd destroy them at your height/weight. theyre only 172. if you like shorter skis theyd be arite i guess.

Invaders.
Anthems are the same thing but a little bit fatter. I have found that invaders are more flexible.
I have them and butter on everything. so fun.

damn..never would think tht foils would be softer..were ur friends anthems new?? cuz maybe they werent broken into all the way

foils are notttttt soft

get some old fujis (pretty much noodles with bindings attached)

or arvs before this years

both soft as fuck

I demo'd some reno rockers this season, and they were really fun. The rocker made them ski very "surfy". They also skied soft, but when hand flexing them they feel relatively stiff. The rocker makes them really easy to butter and press. super fun. I buying them for next season fo sho

Not really. Even with the rocker, they're still pretty damn stiff. The tips and tails are a bit softer, but it's nothing crazy like you're suggesting.

anthems and invaders really aren't THAT soft, they just have butter zones. They're actually pretty stiff underfoot. My buddy has a pair of anthems that I skied for a day and I was actually really surprised by how stiff and not noodley they were.

The softest pair of skis I have skied were Dynastar Nothing But Troubles

nay.

i weigh 135 and i can butter them sooo easily. i had a tougher time buttering my buddies anthems. and yes they were new, he'd had them for about a month.

okay so pretty much all ive got is lizzies which are WAY to short so fuck those and somone said that fugis are.. but meh..

any wor on how soft afterbangs are gonna be?

they have like a medium-soft flex. stiffer than invaders but tons of pop. They are not nearly as stiff as chronics, i really don't know any ski to compare them to.

ya but the thing with fatter skis like the lizzy is that you can have a shorter ski and it will still perform like a longer ski just because of the stability 110 mm under waist gives you. thats eric pollards whole premise with the lizzy. if you havent seen the video with eric talking about them you should its really helpful if your looking into these skis

pretty soft yeah. also the lightest ski i have ever ridden. i rode a pair of 184's (im 6"2' 170 lbs) and could whip them around. if you get them get the biggest size you can

im 115 and prob taller thn eather of you. IM a twig...i think if you want to try something new in terms of flex, try some with rocker e.g. the reno rocker or a pow ski if you want to man up and use them in the park.

Best soft ski used to be the Fujatives without a doubt... haven't ridden the kung fujas yet, but I imagine they'd be super fun. Liberty Phil Larosse Pro's were dope, but I have no idea if the new model is different from last years.

i remember skiing some ski flex index floating around NS somewhere. that would definitely tell you. It was super legit too, all kinds of graphs and stuff.

im not suggesting theyre super soft, im just saying theyre just as easy to butter as a soft ski because of the early rise. does anyone know how soft the alpha 2s are gonna be?
