Soft Wide Skis

Im living in Illinois right now and im moving out to utah for college. Right now i have armada THalls but they are falling apart and i need new skis. I was looking to buy a ski anywhere from 97-110mm wide at waist with early rise because i cant afford a park and pow ski. I was wondering what are some of the best skis in this range and what are some of the softest. I could really use the advice thanks.

i ride jmos now and they are the shit. perfect one ski quiver imo. they arent very soft but you can definitely still butter them

blends if u want a ski with more park ability. sir francis bacon if u only make occasional trips through the park and plan to ski more pow in utah.

There's a pair of lizzies for sale on here right now. I'd grab those if i were you they are so fuckin fun

dont have a comparison but i know the PB&Js have a more serious "rocker" vs the BLend's early rise which is less pronounced

if you like full banana rocker, go with these.

As for legit quiver killers, you have quite a few choices choices:

Line Chronics, Rossi Storms, Armada ARV, and any other 90-95 waist park ski (if you ride mostly park)

Line Blends, Rossi scimitars, and any other 100 waist all mountain skis (if you want a softer quiver killer)

Line SFB, APO Rockos, Rossi Sickles, Atomic Blogs, Armada JJs, or any other 108-115 waist rockered skis (if you want an actual powder ski to ski actual powder with, and sometimes hit park jumps)

Honestly I've seen kids ride armada ar7s in the pow, and Line Opuses in the park. A quiver killer is just any pair of sticks you like to ride on a regular basis.

have fun deciding! there are so many good skis out there now.

my jump and pow ski is 179 2011 hellbent clown bents couldnt ask for a more fun all around ski i love on rails also but try and use my 2012 step ups for that cuz i dont wanna ruin my hellbent edges im not saying you should go buy hellbents just saying that it will all come down to what YOU want in your ski i like to have a buttery very playful fat floppy ski but another guy might want a solomon suspect so he can stomp his doubles were id rather do a cork 3 tail its all personal preference!

tbh your gonna be stoked with most of the skis listed here. I personally would go with the on3p jeffereys/jeronimos, blends, sfbs, or kung fujas

I used to have Live Life 2's (One Life's before they were One Life's) and they were amazing. Definitely stiff and super poppy, but they 8 degree rocker makes them SO much fun to butter and mess around on. Super fun in the park. Super fun when the snow gets deep. If I didn't want a bigger ski (194 New Life's) I would still have them. Center mount them and they are definitely a one ski quiver.

Rossi S3. Ridiculously fun everywhere. I ski the 186 in the park and they slay everything. They are a mid flex, but once they break in they can butter around anything.
