Soft rockerd park skies

I demo'd them at the demo day at Squaw.
To start out I am 18, been skiing since I was 2. about 30 or so days the last couple years (think about 50 this year) but never really done much park. I can straight air most jumps, and I learned how to slide rails this year, lol.
So I demo'd the 181 and they were fun, pretty stable but I kind of wanted something flexier were I could lean forward and tipstand and stuff. So I went down and tried the 171's (coming out next year, not for sale yet) and I really liked them. I know they sound really short, but I liked them more. Still fine on jumps, rails everything.
For the record I usually ski a 192 ON3P Wrenegade, sometimes on a groomer day or when hitting the park 178 scratch bc, and I have some 187 bluehouse districts with fritschi's I use for backcountry.

So they 171 felt really good to me, even though I usually ski pretty long skis I guess (wish I had the money for the 205 praxis pows) Then again I suck at park, 180,360 on tiny faggot jumps and no spinning or anything on big jumps.

they are definatly a fun ski, but by no means are they soft. they are quite fun on rails but i couldent control them at all for landing jumps over 40ft. check out the alpha's. i hear they are waaayyyy sick.

sounds like the reno rocker is what your looking for. super fun ski but you do give up a lot with a rockered park ski. imo

im not biased though, i have rockered bibbys fyi

True. But the main thing that you are giving up is how well they can carve. Other then that they just ski differently, this is just from two days of skiing experience on mine though. After this season I'll really have a feel for them.
