what's a good soft boot out right now? been looking around and i'm not sure any companies make em anymore, I know rossi and dolomite made some a while back

and don't give me any shit for this I am well aware of the drawbacks of softboots, I worked in a pretty damn good ski shop.

wow, I should have known that not asking for shit would result in someone giving me shit

thanks for not answering my question

That's what I mean manˆˆˆjust chill.
Anyway, if help is what you want, I shall attempt to provide it. Check out the spks's, or full tilt(customizable flex). Or the dalbello krypton rampage or il moro(both customizable flex).
But the best advice that can be given is, go to a boot fitter.

How Soft do you want?

Full Tilt (can make soft), SPK, Dalbello Rampage (can make soft), are all pretty soft

Mojo, Lange Freestyle, Scratch, are all medium-soft

you guys don't know what the fuck he is talking about.

I'M pretty sure the last soft boot was made by rossi. They might still make it

if we don't know what he's talking about, it might be due to the vagueness of the question then.

How about you enlighten us.

You know what, you are right. I didn't read the question properly. He is talking about the old Rossi Softs, sorry i was confused. But, you are right, they don't make them anymore.

i got a pair of rossi open softs in my basement too. Quote on quote beginner boot but i absolutely loved them. I'm currently riding a frankenstein set of dalbello's. Rampage shell, il moro cuff, and id liner. The cuff is taller but i found the softer rampage shell and il moro cuffs to be a fitting combination for me. plus liners are money.

just to clarify for the thread creator. he is not talking about soft boots in the soft flex sense. Rossignol in 2005? made a boot called rossi soft. Its had a flexible rubber/ fabric / minimal plastic cuff. The boot provided lots of movement and zero stress on your shins but i believe it was discontinued cause it did not provide enough support and was tough on the ankles. As far as i know no other company successfully took the idea and ran with it. Il moros are the closest i can think of and i have been pleased with both.

Nordica made a soft boot as well. I believe no one makes them anymore. Rossi stopped after the Softs made there reputation go to the shitter.

If you really are looking for a badly designed ski boot, you should check out the Nordica rear entry boot. jk

Are you looking for a pair for yourself? What is it in the boot that you liked, maybe something else would work.

I know Surefoot in Whistler has some Softs left for dirt cheap. They can send them out to you where ever you are.604-938-1663

how about the one that fits your foot? just a thought.

but seriously, lots of soft boots out there, choose based on your foot.
