Socks

I have been wearing the same socks skiing for the first 14 days probally. They are kinda thin ski sock. I recently just switched to a thicker sock because I noticed my heal kept slipping from the bottom of my boot, so I wanted a thicker sock. But these past 2 days I have gotten the worst shinbang, that I haven't gotten before.
So, Does anyone have this same experience?

So I know this is kind of a stupid thread, and I know all the douches on NS will invade the thread with posts saying "searchbar" and "sick thread"And the douchebag comments aren't really needed cuz if people really hate the thread, we don't need your hate comments to bump it to the top.
Word.

Your disclaimer might just feed the trolls.

I haven't had that experience but I always ride with thin socks. Have you tried ridding without socks at all?

uh no this isn't even a topic that people would troll you for. i think the sock thing is unrelated to your shinbang. maybe your heel was different in a different spot with your old socks or something, and affected it that way. i dont really know what else to tell ya

I used to use really thin socks, but my foot seemed to rubb more in the boots (because it moved around more) and cause sore spots. I now wear a medium weight sock, not a thick one, and practically never have problems.

I don't think your shinbang really has anything to do with the socks - perhaps now you are tightening your boots more than you used to in order to keep your heel from slipping without noticing that you're doing it? If you are using a really thivk sock now I would try a medium thick one and see if that doesn't help.
