So who's out for the season?

Man this sucks not being able to ski. The resorts are getting wicked amounts of snow this year too! I'm out with a torn quadricep tendon (tore it Nov. 27 this season). Won't be able to ski until next season.

Who else is out for the season already and how long for recovery?
 
nov 25th blown acl and both meniscuses in my right knee.. surgery was the 21st of dec and i have another month till i can even start physical therapy..let alone walk without crutches.. yeah it sucks
 
ouch...

I thought I tore my ACL or one of the ligaments, but it ended up being a tendon. I won't be off the crutches until at least February. Full recovery in 6 months after surgery.

It's supposed to me a major injury according to my doc. All I know was that it hurt like a bitch.
 
i brokemy ankle like 3-4 weeks ago and im so stupid cus i wont stop wlaking on it cus im fucking retarded and it keeps swelling up again just got a completly new setup and a new jacket that has yet to be used and mocks me everyday
 
man that all sucks for you guys.  Especially the ones truely out for the year.  Hope you guys heal properly.

man i hated broken ankles.  I ruined my ankle cuz i took off my cast thing, and started riding on it.  Now my ankle isnt placed on my foot the right way.  Oh well.

Got a friend with a torn ACL.  Shes pissed cuz she cant ride untill hood.  But she laughs at us cuz we (tahoe) are at 43% snowfall of where we should be.

i will be out after jan 10th... fucking heart surgery on the 10th. goodbye skiing. hello hospital bed for weeks.
 
i was out for about 3 weeks into our season it sucks. i feel for you, and hope you have a speedy recovery
 
Oh man, I feel for you.

I got a pair of new Scratch FS WRS this year and a pair of the old Phil Laroses. I rode the Laroses once, but that's it. I also got a new helmet, goggles, jacket...

I stuck it all in a box so I didn't have to torture myself.
 
i thought i tore my rotater cuff but i found out yesterday that i fractured 3 muscles off of it (don't ask me how a muscle fractures, i dunno). no surgery but the doc said that i should just stay to groomers for a couple weeks to let it heal right, too bad i'm bad with fallowing orders haha
 
You're gonna regret it later if you injure yourself more. If you completely tear something, they'll put you under the knife so they can stitch you up. It takes a helluva lot longer to heal up from surgery than the 2 weeks you have to wait right now.
 
is this the dspong that im thinking of? cuz if it is your crash was the gnarliest thing iv ever seen...and 8 months is a damn long time, get better man
 
Well i was out the last 1 1/2 seasons with an torn acl

So this season im pumped and what do you know, i tweak my good knee. I can ski, just not hard all day...its iffy :S
 
I blew my acl, mcl, meniscus and postereal lateral corner in september. Had surgery in October. Started walking at the end of november, and now the first skiing I get to look forward to is in NZ in hopefully July. Which is pretty gay!
 
i dislocated my shoudler my first day and last week i got drunk and jumped from the first to the second floor barefoot and fucked up both my heels. I am still gonna ski once i can walk a little better but i am not gonna be able to do any park.
 
yea i think thats the situation im in, but I keep skiing. I just really avoid putting any impact on my hand/wrist, or else its agony
 
destroyyyyyyed my acl and meniscus last season...got surgery over the summer. im out til the end of march. i feel you guys on the knee injuries
 
Wow that's definetely pretty serious compared to some of the limb injuries, hope your surgery goes well so you can be out and healthy soon
 
Good Luck on the surgery. I couldn't stand being in my bed for 2 days after my knee surgery... get someone to bring you lots of movies or play something like crib
 
Yea, i might as well be out for the season, its january 4th and my ski resort has 7 slopes, yes count them 7 and theyre all bunny slopes.. and what sucks is that the park is on the whole other side of the mountain and there is no snow even close to that... and its 54 degress outside so and its sposted to rain this week and the weather channel doesn't even show snow for a week HOW GAY GAY GAY GAY
 
i just dislocated my knee in Park City's halfpipe today. i dunno how long ill be out but it hurts like hell
 
first off im not going to even start to rip you a new one on how retarded that commment was because i know that you wont even begin to understand. second you still havent answered my question- how he is a dick? Have you met him? Have you spoken to him? Do you even know who he is?
