they work fine if you are right handed, buy an extra case and don't mind 2g service (when you can get a signal at all from crappy ATT) Sounds like a deal to me haha
 
I waited on line for just over an hour and a half and eventually decided to leave, the line was moving sooo slowly and I was just about half way through. Maybe I'll have better luck tomorrow, I wish my pre-order had gone through, or I had at least made a reservation.
 
People like their iPhones. Apple does a great job of hyping their products. There were plenty of people waiting in line for the Droid as well if I recall. Personally I'll be waiting for a little while until they work out the little annoying kinks.
 
Now that they come in 16 gigs iphones are pretty cool I guess. There isn't any point in having an iphone if you already got an ipod, so when they were like 8 gigs it was pointless because you would still need an ipod if you wanted to have all your music in one place.
 
ha i'm not, my 3g had 6 hardware fails in the year i have had it, only one was replaced free, the others were 50$ each. my old Motorola razor was far more dependable, my iphone experience has made me an apple hater
 
I was in line earlier today. Woke up at 5 and got my phone at 8. And I was among the first 200 in the store.

He ended up finding a contact with some people that run a blog that will pay him $1350 night before in person, they have a meeting up point. When paied he is to fuck the shit out one with his hands and w/e else he has around on release day while it gets filmed in front of all the people at the apple store...so I'm going to get there early to see it haha

You know like the "WILL IT BLEND (IPHONE/IPAD)"...i was considering buying one of those blenders and bringing it to the apple store plugging it in, then having him plop the whole box with iphone in the blender and press on...but the people from the site said they want to see the actual phone being broken alone...

But yea I'm stoked...he gets one iphone paid for its self and I get to watch while he fucks it up
 
uhh... no its not actually... it's a shitty product. i can completely block my verizon boulder's antenna and it still makes calls no problem- even when there's a warning telling you not to. it's a shiney piece of crap but people are still dumb enough to spend way to much money on it.
 
It´s not though...and why people go out of there way to find issues that I have never found in daily use astounds me. Why people get angry enough to make angry internet post about other peoples phones...also pathetic.

My iPhone is much better than any of my other phones, and at $99 it was a much better deal than getting a new iPod.
 
the reception thing is hilarious, just saying... but yea i had the option of the Iphone or blackberry and I thought i would break the iphone. Pretty much the only difference between the two for me
 
I didn't know what it looked like until now and i googled it. I didn't want to live under a rock. Sounds uncomfortable.
 
I got the phone a on Wednesday and for the next week or so im still under contract with verizon so i have a LG Dare and a iPhone. Comparing the reception on both i have yet to see a difference. This phone defiantly surpassed my expectations and i had them set pretty high. Two years ago i had a blackberry and for business that thing was defiantly better but if you are not a business guy id say the iPhone is a way more impressive phone.
 
man i feel awful about that. i drove the hype train straight off the tracks into a ditch haha

i need like a business partner that organizes me. I have great ideas for days, but severe adhd tends to get in the way of execution. its so frustrating.

i don't know who is more moronic...people that know that no cell phone is perfect, or people who think that apple is the all fucking mighty god of personal electronic devices.
 
daily use, really? this is a major flaw. i mean you can't talk when you have the phone in your left hand and that's not an issue with daily use? stop defending a shitty phone because it has "i" before the name. fucking sheep.
 
You can talk with it in your left hand dumbfuck, my friend just got one n its like 2 bars at most that you lose and thats wrapping your whole hand around the phone. It's not even noticeable so maybe you should go use one and try it instead of reading all the bullshit you think is true.
 
guy in my line at work today had one. he spent probably 3 minutes trying to restart it because "i cant pick up the call anymore..."

my shitty samsung propel is more reliable
 
not me. Since its only service provider is the always shitty At&t, it drops calls like a motherfucker and the attenna (sp) is on the outside of the phone, it will have shitty service.
 
Barking up the wrong tree here big internet man. I know you've probably beat off on the same services for the last 10 years, but I've actually been around and tried one or two around the world. Go away.
