They are called NAS so they don't lose any core boardshop support. Some core shops will refuse to carry brands that are in anyway ski-related, so by taking the word ski out of their production line they technically still are not a ski-related company. even with wilson on the team, they are a snowboard company.
Been riding them all year, have two friends on them as well and we all agree on one thing... they're awesome. I've ridden them on east coast ice and in deep tahoe pow and they have done great everywhere... definitely the best twin tip i've been on. I love the flex, the magnetraction is perfect for ice, and they've taken the beating I've given them without any troubles.
