We got all this snow now and it's heavy shit; easy to pack. Who is setting up for urban today. All the high schools are closed. I want to jib something.

good session today!!
There's a ton of rails just north of Hamden. They are kind of sheltered so I'm hoping the snow there will stay a few more days for some weekend jibing too!!
Anyone know any other spots that are sheltered/shaded or face north and hold snow? Anybody have a legit rail they need help sessioning?

We went out yesterday and tried to hit about three different features but were busted right after set up on each. So we wound up hitting a bleacher slide which worked pretty well. But I am definitely looking to slide some rail, so if anyone wants to meet up today or over the next couple days then hit me up.
Jex, What rails are you thinking of hitting off Hampden, curious because there are a few good ones in that area.

NSG?

Guys that live down the street from me had their back yard set up going. They have a 12 foot long PVC double barrel, a short, skinny, round skate rail and some plastic barrels. I was hoping they were going to be out yesterday. Epic session. I am still a gaper, but I did figure out a bs 270 off yesterday. Stoked! The bonk barrel we set up after the flat rail was fun too.

I forgot the street name, but it's a residential street that runs parallel to Hamden and is about 2 blocks north. The rails are behind an apartment complex and on a long and semi narrow park area. There is a tennis court you will see when you get close. It's also roughly kitty-corner to an elementary school. I have not hit any of them and speed could be a bit of an issue for some of them without a ramp or bungee.
In regards to the back-yard set-up. Where is this located in relation to DU? Are visitors welcome? I would be stoked to check it out if the owners don't mind.

Sorry I didn't see this until now. Had to close my browser while editing vid. We are actually less than 5 minutes from DU. Basically Dartmouth and Universityish. Running out of snow though. PM me if you are going to be around this weekend. If we pick up a few inches of snow, we could be back in business.

yo man, You still hitting the rail? I'll be in town all day today and maybe tomorrow. I live really close I think. Up on S. Williams and Vassar. Let me know!

I was wondering if anyone was hitting any of the rails at Saint Mary's. They have that super long, super steep down that drops down to the soccer field. You'd have to put some kind of ramp to land on. It's so steep that it looks like you be doing about 80 mph at the bottom and you'd land right on the flat.

That shoots you straight into a fence, but the flat down is less than 100 yards from there and it is perfect in every way
