So my Look Bindings exploded (pic included)

I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone, the binding didn't pull out, and the screws were still in the ski
the plastic cracked and the toe piece came right off, these are on my bibby pros, which are a pow ski so it's not like I'm hucking huge cliffs or jumps, I was at Jay and it happened in beaver pond
I've ridden these bindings roughly 30 days so i think it's a bit premature, anyone know a Look rep or have any ideas of what I could do??

the same thing happened to me a couple days ago with some axial 100s. All I did was land a little backseat in a frontflip and they exploded. I'll post a pic sometime if I can. I'm gonna coll rossi tomorrow and see what they can do. I had more like 70 days on them so idk if they will help me... its pretty shitty.

If you are skiing a wide board on hardpack that is actually not unheard of. Wider boards put some interesting leverage on bindings if they are skied on ice etc.

I was skiing two feet of pow, the only hard pack I rode was the last couple hundred feet to the chairs

I've seem something similar to this before, yes. Shit happens. I mean your bindings are pieces of plastic and metal that you put under your feet and stomp around on all day. Eventually shit like that can just happen;it's not really too surprising.

i know, i agree to this but it's never happened to me before and in all my lifetime of skiing it's never happened to any of my friends, that's why i'm somewhat dumbfounded
I've sent an email to dynastar to get it checked out we'll see what happens

That's crazy! Was it really cold, cause that might have caused the plastic to crack...

Here is the thread I made when my look px12 jibs got ripped out. A guy posted their warranty number. I called and got it sorted out and exchanged for a new pair of px12 jibs from dynastar.

Look Callout Thread

crazy break. seems like the only way that would happen would be if your screws were too backed off. giving the plastic plate the ability to flex.

that sucks, hopefully it gets sorted out asap.

Really? I think I've seen every binding explode in basically every way possible. My buddy broke the all metal FKS toe piece into two metal pieces. Straight up tore the metal apart, crazyness. Skiing is nuts, all equipment is bound to get demonited.

No kidding. It actually amazing how well they hold together, in my opinion. What still astonishes me is how a couples of shallow screws hold so much weight and force, especially on a big backseat or bail landing.

***UPDATE***
After sending an email to the guys at Dynastar, They asked me to simply take em off and send them back and they will replace them brand new!!!!! SO FUCKIN LEGIT!!!
Thank You Dynastar

He also said that it's a very odd break and that it shouldn't happen

they were perfectly mounted, i think 4-5 back from center? i cant remember, i have two options heli coil, or just remount them center which would be interesting to try out, kinda defeats the point of them being my pow skis though doesn't it?

Yeah personally I don't like skiing center, even on my park skis. I don't ski alot of switch (practically none in pow), so I was concerned for you. Either way though, good luck!

Does anyone notice how with Look toepieces you can clip the binding in and still have wiggle room. I got some pxjibs mounted in a shop (a shop that I like) and I skied on them for five days and one of my friends noticed that my toe was able to move around a bit. I bet that binding would have shattered the same way if I landed hard backseat
