So my local shop fucked up

over here in israel, i think i can really count all the people that are into freestyle skiing on my hands, that being said- you can infer ski shops don't bring too many freestyle equipment nor do they know too much about it...there's only one legit shop that actually brings new ski models each year so i pre-ordered the nordica ace of spades when they made their order.

i got the ski last week and for some reason it came from nordica with this stupid binding rail system (Nordica Nfree system), that's mounted about -5 back and doesn't allow me to get my bindings fully centered.

i was thinking of just getting a refund but im heading to france in 3 weeks and i don't want to wait untill i get there to get new skis (+im not sure what skis will be available in the resort shops), so my only option is a re-mount, that i'll probably get done in france..

anyone had such experience? why in the world would nordica ship a simmetrical ski that's ment to be center mounted with these rails that don't allow it?

this sucks :(

the only problem is that i got them on a huge discount so that won't be enough for buying new skis =\is remount such a bad idea?

Are they otherwise mint? In shrink-wrap plastic? If not, I would strongly suspect you got sold a pair of ex-demos. The funny rail and massive discount suggest as much.

they came in shrink plastic and everything...the discount i kind of a sponsorship thing- i ski with shop patches on my jacket, and give them some pics of me skiing, and i get 50-60% off the prices in the shop

they mailed nordica and their answer was that because it's the 170 it's not fully simmetric and that's why it's mounted back-seat... a shot measurement confirmed what they said..but remount without the rails would happen for sure...

any thoughts wether i should center mount it or not although its not fully simmetrical sidecut?
