Suspects that is, took a a good 10 days to break them in the way i like to ski and now they are a blast all over the mtn from park to bumps and on rails! just got to dull those edges before hand and they are great. They do have a few chips on them but all skis get those.

Overall i would give these skis a 8 out of 10 because they not the greatest ski in the pow.

I have had these skis for 2 years and they are holding up great. i dont wax and i detuned once. breaking in for me is just pressing the skis on butters and rails to soften them up.

this, im not sure why youre rating them on powder.

i too have suspects, and theyre a super fun ski to ride and i havent had any problems with durability yet other than some small chips (im about 10 days in as well)

This is ridiculous because of my last post..... But what model year are these suspects? Salomon got a huge bad rap for "Durability" because of the suspect which pisses me off, I'm riding twenty twelves (first year available for them) and have about 8 days total on them, with some hard landings onto ice and whatnot. I can even see topsheet chips scratches or cuts at all, and cant hear any symptoms of delams with the coin test.

Aha coin test for composite products consists of taking a coin between the thumb and index finger, and lightly tapping on the topsheet of the ski, listening for a "Rattle" or lower than usual pitch sound. The sound will change slightly as you move down the ski because of the variation in thickness, but it should be pretty apparent for an internal delam. This test is used in the aircraft industry and boat industry as an early detection method for delaminations.
