Alright so i'm in college, i missed a math class and during that class we had a test

I emailed my teacher-i cant make it up

so the kid that sits next to me filled me in on what went on

just the other day we took a quiz

I get an email saying she needs to meet with me about the quiz i took on monday

i go into class today and on my paper is dont look at your neightbors answers, and we need to discuss this.

How can i prove i didnt cheat?

whats the worst that can happen to me..?
 
Just be real sincere about everything and explain how you didn't cheat because it's "not worth it". Also tell her you wouldn't want to cheat just for the main purpose of having to aregue with her. Asian women are real stubborn. Good Luck
 
I'm confused. What did the kid tell you? Just what happened in class the day that you missed?

If you have very similar answers with the kid next to you then its going to be hard convincing her you didn't cheat. But if you really didn't cheat it shouldn't be a huge problem and if you're completely honest about everything you won't get in trouble.

I was caught cheating (sorta) and what happened to me was a 0 on on the assignment and 1/3 of the final letter grade in the class. For you its probably not as big a deal since it was just a quiz. First offenses usually aren't a huge deal but your school could be different than mine.
 
he just like told me how to do the problems but apparently he told me wrong so we both had the same wrong answers..

since i got wrong answers i got a 3/20 so i a 0 on the quiz really wouldnt matter so i'm hoping that is all i get cuz its not much worse than a 3..but i am a freshman and havnt cheated or have anything on my record so i am hoping you are right about that...
 
IDK if you can talk to the kid before you talk to the teacher

but maybe explain how you studied together and tell her exactly that... if you guys thought that was how you were suppose to do the problem in the first place, then it's no suprise that you got the same wrong answers... everyone who got the same right answers didn't cheat, they just learned the propper way to do something, it's the case for you.
 
So then that means you were in eighth grade in 2006. That would put you in tenth grade. Unless you are a genius, you wouldn't be in college.
 
how do you figure? i graduated in 2007 therefore i wasnt in 8th grade in 2006, where are you coming up with this? i am a freshman in college, its year 2008 i turn 19 in march and i graduated high school in 2007 meaning when i was in 8th grade it was 2002..so idk where you got your information from
 
its also my screen name duh thats where i got it from for my username here just cuz i made my profile on here in 2006 doesnt mean i havnt had it as my screen name for 4 years
 
You should probably just tell her exactly what happened, that you missed class and got the guy to explain it to you, it would be really good if the prof. takes attendance, because that would mean you have evidence.
 
if you really didn't cheat, then tell her the truth and what really happened. hope for the best, if she still doesn't believe you maybe take it up with your dean or something? idk i'm not in college but it seems like a good idea to me.

You do at University here, you can appeal it but it is normally at least a mandatory year off or a F on the course and academic probation i think. Oh and if you are going to cheat, perhaps do it off someone smarter.

if you miss a test in a college class you might as well just drop the class becausein all my classes if you miss a test there goes at least 40% of your grade
 
My mom is a professor, and shes dealt with cheaters before.

I know for a fact that without any evidence, teachers cant do anything about cheating. Since there isnt any evidence that you cheated, you have nothing to worry about. Its innocent until proven guilty.

Make sure you talk to the kid and come up with a story so you don't both go in and tell two different things and get fucked over.

say that you and the person next to you studied together for the quiz and you studied the same stuff and thats why your answers are similar
