I searched the fourms and found that it is ussally not recomended to mount your bindings without a press. But goign agaisnt most peoples advice i did (hey they are like 5 dollar skis anyways) but the final product came out perfect and the only probley ive ran into so far is the holes left from the other bindings, i plan on capping them but since most people recomended not doing this i wounder what other problems i might come across

other problems you might face include...

-your binding coming off

-in result from your binding coming off, a faceplant

-in result of your face plant, stitches

-in result of your stitches, a hospital bill

-in result of your hospital bill, bankruptcy

-in result of your bank ruptcy, no more skiing...

shall i go on?

i was going to go for a quad daffy but i was like, why huck? -mommy

Nothing against you as a person, but what was the point of that? So the guy mounts his own shit. Props to him. If it rips out, he's at least learned something.

here is what can go wrong with a jigless mounting job

-holes could be off center..a jig centers the holes perfectly

-you could have drilled too far (effects the flex)

-drilled not far enough (they will rip out

good for you though, the first pair is always the hardest..next time though, use a wood or GORILLA glue in the holes..since your drilling into wood, Gorilla glue works best cause it bonds to both wood and metal (core and screw) even though the glue isnt intended for retention of the binding in the ski

Hibachi King drops 9/9/04...and it shouldnt suck! hah

i remounted my toe piecs on some summer rail skis, no problems yet, and i just did it freehand, with no glue
