no, we dont see the sun for 3 months in the winter, we have like 5 hours of daylight..well maybe not 5 but like 7, gets light at 10 and is dark ator before 6

Yeah, I don't feel so lucky to be in AK right now. There have been like, 2 decent days w/o rain in the last 3 weeks.

And the snow is pretty cool, but theres not enough to do anything with it yet. I was up over Bird Pass into the north fork of ship creek valley and it was snowing down to about 3000 feet. Kinda fucks up hunting season and my livlihood.
