I usually go to loveland and a basin and probably will, my dad wants to check out Aspen maybe. Is there anywhere I should go in Aspen? places besides Aspen? I'll be in Arvada at my grandparents house but am willing to stay at a hotel somewhere for a night.

there are 4 mountains in the aspen area. I lived there this summer, but only skied highlands (and biked snowmass). I'd say Snowmass looks like its got the best variety of terrain in the area (15 mins from Aspen), but I'm sure there is someone here with more insight on the area.

You'll want to stay at a hotel for two nights if you go all the way to Aspen as its a 3.5 or 4 hour drive

how about keystone? it's pretty close. I'm trying to avoid a tourist trap. loveland and a basin are usually not crowded.

Go to aspen highlands and hike the Highland bowl it is awesome well worth the drive/hike
