So i had a little scare yesterday.

I was skating with a few friends, and some guy rolls up in a jeep with his friends and tells us we're all faggots. I tell the guy to fuck off and he leaves.

Then he comes around again starts doing the same shit, telling us we're faggots and such. I once again tell him to fuck off and he leaves

Then, we're still skating, and he rolls up and one of the guys in the car gets out and starts talking shit, telling us we don't want to fight him when he started talking first. I then (For the third time) tell him to fuck off and leave us alone.

What happens next surprised me.

He pulls out a fucking wrench. LOL yeah a wrench, like a heaaavy ass pipe wrench. Then he pulls out a swiss knife and hes holding both. And were in a pretty busy area, there's cameras and everything.

I happened to have forgotten my self protection tool(lol) at home, i always carry a swiss with me.

So he then says "ya'rnt talkin shit now huh" by now theres like 9 of his friends around him, so 10 total people against 3 kids. Even one of his FUCKING FRIENDS was surprised he had a wrench on him. So i just tell him i was sorry, because fuck, what am i going to do when theres a dude with a wrench and a knife in each hand facing me. He then proceeds to put all of his tools (lol see what i did thur) away and calls me a pussy for not fighting him.

So the way i look at it, if he really wanted to fight, why would he pull shit out and threaten me with them? i mean, he should be the pussy for doing so. But i wanted to get NSG's opinion.

TLDR:: got a wrench and knife pulled on me at the same time for no reason.I dont have my usual knife on me. Guy wants to fight, tell him im sorry, then he leaves. What should i have done?
 
the way it sounds he wasn't going to do anything anyway, and with how he was acting you probably could have done anything you wanted to him/his car and got away with it.

Yeah I wish I could get a ccw. I'm getting one for sure when i turn 21. And I didn't catch a license plate or anything so I can't report him.

if OP had a knife we would probably look at an all-out knife-wrench-fight and he would be in the hospital or already 6 feet under (where it would be hard to make this thread though).

if youre serious: you did the absolutely perfect thing (maybe excluding the beginning, depending how "polite" you told him to fuck off).

apologize and try to get the fuck out of it is the best you can do. yea you can fight him and try to be cool and get mixed up with his 9 buddies.

maybe its a little cooler to back off and come home safe than provoke some random fuckhead just to impress your buddies.
 
I would love too see the guys face when you pull out a gun if you had concealed carry.

Probably wouldve shit his pants in front of his friends he was trying to impress.
 
hahaha, there's a kid in my town who does this to me all the time. he's a small time weed dealer who thinks he's the biggest boss that the world has ever seen, and he always fucks with me. I usually just ignore him because I know that these kids are just jokes and when push comes to shove, they wouldn't actually do anything. he also happens to drive a Jeep.
 
i'm assuming he had one of those small pull along things you put kids in behind bikes. that would have solved the seating arrangement i'm sure.
 
My reaction would have been. Obviously im not going to fight bare fisted against a guy holding a wrench and a knife, and frankly your the pussy for needing them
 
As an aside to your statement:

For the sake of an argument, OP has his conceal carry and responsibly still attempts to apologize and get away from the situation. (without drawing his weapon; any conceal carry class preaches it is a last resort)

Wrench man and his 9 buddies aren't feeling very forgiving of our three skaters apologies and advance to fight.

You honestly can tell me that isn't the correct situation to utilize a conceal carry?

well i would say that if just 2 of them also have guns wherever they have them from, youre probably safer to not pull it out.
