i talked to dynastar and they say i can warranty.

mannn

my dads freind is on ski patrol and he did take a knife and cut off the base layer that was jutting upwards. It made a huge difference i really have no problem skiing them. i dont know any suggestions you guys have for me trying to fix them on my own

If you cant warranty it, get in there and get dirty. Use pliers to pull the edges to where they are supposed to be and hammer that shit down. Cover it in petex and let it set for a day in the cold, scrape the petex so it's even with your base and it should be good.

sounds good im not even going to try to warranty because of the "its your fault if its rail damage shit". I dont think i will ever trust a broken grind again.

thats not how u fix a broken edge

go to a shop

or

1. get a new piece of edge, and epoxy

2. cut down edge to the proper length.

3. cut base around broken area in a smooth arc around the spot

4. after roughing up thoroughly, mix the epoxy in a cup

5. put some epoxy in the area where base/edge is missing (makes it easier to place edge in for me)

6. fit new piece of edge in to missing area

7. use tape to block the epoxy from spilling out the side

8. poor epoxy on to fill the hole

9. Let the epoxy set completely

10. use a file to scrape off any excess epoxy.

u are done

That sucks, i would take it to a shop and see what they can do first so don't mess up your skis even more.

thats what i ment. I wasent knocking what u were saying. The way u described sounds a little better then what i do anyways.

Sorry for the double post. If the damage is down to the core, that is very bad. It is called a core shot and if water gets in there you core could get fucked. Take it to the shop. I can't see if it's a core shit.
