Freeport is at least an hour away from Portland, if not more, I wouldn't call that Portland area.

Freeport is OKAY, you can get some dope ski stuff but its far from mountains.

So uh, sorry for the thread jack but I figured the original question was basically answered... so, im in the Camden/belfast area for winter break and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on where to go? I figure sugerloaf and sunday river, but anyone know some smaller hill closer by for a lazy day, like camden snow bowl? Is it any good? How about Herman Mountain?
