Yup. It's true. I bought it and let me say this...

Travis Rice is fucking amazing. There are dubs off huge cliffs with durty tree taps in the middle. Some of the big mountain lines he is shredding are extremely impressive as well. I must say that IMO he is one of the most progressive riders that is alive today.

I hate to lick balls like that, but Travis Rice deserves waaay more credit than that flying tomato fuck..

Rant...

Some of the shots in there are unreal. I have never ever seen anyone who throws down soo big and stomps almost every time. Travis Rice = freakshow.

absolutely the best snowboarding or skiing or extreme sport movie i have ever seen. The narration was a refreshing break from the usual. HD was fucking nuts, its practically looking through a fucking window. I am blown away. Best 10 bucks ive spent in a loooooooooong time.

the cameras used for this movie are sooooooo dirty. the slow mo is so crisp. the music is ill. i would blow travis rice (no homo)....only as a gesture of gratitude for how ill he is....best sports movie ive ever seen...it just sucks im saying that about a snowboard movie. i would have died happy if it was a ski movie.

Shoot the Moon will always be the best thing I have ever watched that involved sliding on snow.
But yea the cinematography was from another planet.

hmmmm? i watched retrospect and it was FARRRRR from anything speciale. Hopefully shoot the moon is better... but that good? doubt it

I still need to buy that but i want to download and burn it to a dvd not just have a movie i can only watch in itunes

Just finished it, it was phenomenal. best 10$ i ever spent. what made it even better was no shaun white!

Fuck yes, that movie was amazing. Its like national geographic movie paired with some of the very best shots I've ever seen in a ski or snowboard movie. Mind = Blown.

both are amazing, i dont know what you're talking about. next level urban shit, same deal as how art of flight is next level backcountry shit.

So so so so good. I honestly hate ski movies and edits. I would rather watch snowboarding at any given time. Skiing is all the same, everybody dresses the same, everybody does the same tricks, and so forth. Snowboarding has a much wider variety of styles and is a lot more enjoyable to watch.

IMO.

Travis has always slayed. He was busting his balls trying to triple before Torstein if I remember, not to say that Travis is better (Torstein fucking slays). I'll probably download soon.

SICK movie.

Travis was insane, Nicholas Müller was SUPER sick as well. He stomped the craziest shit. Awesome movie.

Itunes was being a bitch and wouldnt take my debit card- so im downloading it illegally- I felt bad so I donated 10 dollars to high fives foundation

just finished watching it and it was without a doubt the best movie i've ever seen. i usually don't enjoy watching snowboarding but i'd watch this movie over any ski movie ever made. so much respect for travis rice and all the others that killed it silly hard in that movie. wow

I just finished watching it and I must say I wasn't much of a fan. The filming was amazing and there were a lot of really sick tricks but overall It wasn't very enjoyable to watch. I found the soundtrack to be unoriginal and bland but that's just my opinion and can't be helped. The whole macho thing they had going on got old really quick. The entire patagonia scene was completely pointless besides looking at the awesome landscapes and watching them piss off the guides and pilot. Then again, this movie already had a strike against it for me. You know when travis rice rode on the side of the helicopter? Well the filmers and riders both swore that they would keep that a secret and the pilot almost lost his job. The riders killed it but the overall feel of the movie was off.

The movie is amazing. For some reason the Aspen park segment literally brings me to tears. Words cannot describe the happiness I feel. The guys killed it again.

You don't lose your job from that, you become a legend. If Travis Rice came to your heli operation and said he wanted to ride on the side of the heli..... you'd say 'fuck yes you can'.

dude relax, you don't always need to play guard dog on the internet to people who don't like the same things you do. i loved the movie but the guy had some points

oh and i just realized, that shot in the trailer with the guy going huge on the sled (and looks like he's going to die idk what's going on) wasnt in there was it?

I watched it last night and twice again this morning and I'm gonna have to say I agree with a lot of this. The riders killed it and the cinematography was next level, without a question, but something about the film hasn't lived up to expectations. Maybe I had too much green but a lot of the last 20 minutes seemed kind of dark and bleak, which made the flow just off. But, that said, I think if the same footy was done with a badass soundtrack and more lines that were spontaneous and conversational rather than written beforehand and read for the cameras, it could be such a legit movie. This is probably going to get some hate but as it stands now, I think the level of riding and filming may have been better in this, but the whole vibe of that's it, that's all still beats it for me.

Such a sick movie... Bit of a scary moment when the chopper froze up on top of that line. Some pretty crazy flying going on in that movie.
