So how many people are still skiing?

So my season has been over since march 20th. It's been hot and humid here and it sucks. It seems everyone else Is gettig snow or still skiing. Could some people who's seasons been over for awhile post and make me feel less terrible? Thanks. Ps this is depressing to type.
 
my hill closed about the same time as you, and i live in Colorado.

i would be going to A-bay every weekend, but it cost $50 in gas round trip... and no one from my area would even want to go...

Me. I hiked my local mountain yesterday where there was a corry-p setup and a channel-gap wallride kinda thing on a dam.
 
skied 14 of fresh last saturday but the mountain closed because the stupid employees didnt wanna work anymore and with the base they got im guessing they could have at least one run open till july :(

but im shredding at my other mountain that closed april 11th, they lease the land and the lease was up but they could be open till summer, i go ski there still just no lifts
 
I've been earning turns for about a month and will continue to do so for another month or two atleast. Slushy backflippers!
 
moving back to Utah this week, Haven't skied since Park City on March 25th, putting the season to a proper rest this weekend at the bird.
 
my mountain closed april 28th, but it's been dumping. i need to go up hike for some turns, or build a kicker or something. too bad nobody around here gives a shit about skiing anymore besides me.

skied yesterday... snowed 6 inches so far today... gonna ski tomorrow... should have at least another good month out here in tahoe... mammoth will be an option til 4th of july!

hood is open longer than whistler

whistler closes in late july, when hood is open until late august.

my hill is technically closed, but there's a ton of snow and they keep their rails out.

I wish i had some more money to put into a summer setup but i really need a car. it sucks. since this is my thread, does anyone want to hook up in central NY and make a joint setup? just a thought
 
ive made a 100 percent free summer setup before, and it was better than most imo

pallets, pvc borrowed from sites, old carpet, borrowed orange fence, borrowed milk crates for the rail legs, put a piece of 2x4 in the milk crate and screw up through it and the crate into the pvc, works like a fucking charm and you can stack as many as you would like for up rails and such
 
been shredding a little hand rail up my mountain but no skiing since the first of May when closing day got 12+ of fresh.
I should be skiing at Mammoth some point this summer, stoked for that
 
yeah but you see i dont have a car. and niether does anyone else i ski with. im cought in the middle. i need a setup but i also need a car to get the stuff for the setup. fuck.

I live in the middle of fucking nowhere. There is no towns and my nearist neigbor is 3 miles down the road.
We need a car so fuck off.
 
O and i've been doing more motocross than skiing. It blows. Please excuse me while i go cry myself to sleep.
