so how heavy is your setup?

well for no reason at all today i weighed my skis and bindings.......they came in at a whopping 13 lbs...how heavy are yours?

good question.. im not sure.. and im too lazy to bring the scale downstairs to figure it out.. but i know that they are pretty fucking heavy

my 1080's are hella light, but i don't know exactly how much they weight, I can't afford a scale.

a conversation between two skiers:

skier 1 ' have you seen those new skis with the tips in the front and back yet'

skier 2 'no but I heard about those things'

Skier 1 ' yeah I don't see why they would want tips in the back...maybe they are try'n to copy those stupid snowboarders or something like that'

skier 2 'Yeah seems like kind of a stupid idea.'

that seems like a lot..i dont know...what are among the lightest ski and binding combos? for those of you who actually weighed your stuff, what is the setup?

having a light setup makes a huge difference. so much easier to grab. the boots I got last year weigh a ton, I regret buying them. Plus hiking is much easier.

my tens r light but my scratch bindings are heavy, 912's are lightest bindings i ever held

i would say 18 lbs for my scratch bc's and bindings. i was thinkn about putn a plate on it as well, the bindings seem abnormally heavy too.

I think I'm somewhere around 25lbs for Ostness Dragons, Skyhoy telemark bindings, and Scarpa Terminator telemark boots.

my darksides and line reactor bindings weigh at least 20 pounds. if not more. i can't spin them for beans, but they charge through anything else that you can throw at them. friggin tanks.
