So Far So Hood T-Shirts

did you read what it said above the pictures...?

"Just got mine and my brother's from Russel himself. Gold is 3xl and green is 2xl."

i don't think anyone has received their shirts yet unless they know russel.

i think mine might be at home already, my pops called me and told me i had a package. so its either car parts, the shirt, or they decided to surprise me with something... hmm

Why would you ever wear that shirt in public?

I'd buy a tall tee with a sick design on it over some half naked chick with $ signs on her nips anyday.

Hate away, but I think the design is stupid.

im wondering how they screen printed that girl on there with all that detail.. to my understanding you could only do a solid color?? could some one make this more clear to me

The image was converted to a format that create an appearances of depth using small circles. The size of the circles are different percentages in different areas to make the image darker or lighter. If you are familiar with stipple technique for shading that the best thing I can compare it to.

It is possible to do multiple colors when screen printing, but for the image of the girl only black ink was used. Check out the last picture I posted on the first page, you can see the detail of what I'm talking about.

it's called a half tone screen. So it is a solid color, just really small dots that are further together or closer apart to give the appearance of a grayscale gradient.

it's the same way your inkjet printer works, but it's less obvious because the dots are way way smaller.

does anyone know the application or converting technique used for this? I haven't been able to find a stipple style converter and would rather not do any of it by hand in photoshop...nor do i think I could.
