Hey I'll be at ASU next year (Tempe, AZ) and I was wondering what the closest quality skiing would be for me.. Mt High looked like 5 hrs.

i dont know that mt. high is what you would call 'quality'... from what i have heard. anyhow, if your gonna be trips that will probably go over a weekend or whatever, you might as well go to mammoth, or at least bear/snow summit...

Bear Mtn, Snow Summit and Mt High are all really close to each other. Now that Summit bought Bear, the entire mountain is a park so if you are in to jumps and jibs you would want to go to bear, but it is still nothing compared to Mammoth or other resorts up north.

 
give MH a little love..they have a pretty progressive park and its a lot less mountain driving than bear and summit. Ill be at High a lot this season...

i just got a pass to mt high it is like half the drive for me and they have night skiing so i can go up during the week after class

Alcohol the cause and solution to all lifes problems.
