i can't wait to see this. this kid is going to land it or die, obviously i hope he lands it, if he does it's going to be history anyone else excited.
 
FUCK YEA! If you watch the training video it looks like he lands that one to snow even tho it cuts out. It's fucking crazy and I cant wait to see it
 
Exactly. Todd Palin is a goofball.

The whole thing is a recipe for disaster. They are pressuring him into doing a very very high consequence trick, and when that gets pushed people often end up paralyzed. Double flips are risky business when there's another entity involved, there is a reason only Pastrana has done one, and BMX has seen some very nasty injuries from doubles.

Pastrana has done more then one, he's only done one in comps. And as for them pressuring Levi to do it, they pressured pastrana for 2 or 3 years (like when he first did it into foam) be for he decided he was going to. There is know doubt pressure for Levi to do it but he's going to be the one that makes the finall cal and he won't do it if he thinks there's not a reasonable chance at landing it or atleast bailing out good, you don't get to that level by making dumb calls.
 
botom line the guy is trying a new trick, a new trick that is fucking insane in my opinion, so instead of hating why cant you support someone who is progressing a sport similar to yours. i agree there isent as much divirsity in tricks as there is as skiing, but.... the the guy is fliping a 450 pound machine twice. he has the same passion as a lot of us skiers do so i feel like we should so some respect and stoke on it. if not why don't you go and try to land a single backflip on a snowmobile.

this is extream sports....we should support it.

Snowmobiling is garbage, anyone whos primary use of a snowmobile is for racing or jumping is a stupid redneck piece of shit. If you say otherwise your worthless down-syndrom driven opinion is not worth noting by me or anyone else. Do everyone a favor and dunk your balls in a shark tank so you dont produce any more idiots like yourself~

he didn't land it and nobody said it was historic. and even someone as smart as you couldn't land a double back flip on a snowmobile.
 
yes. they didnt say historic. but they all flipped a shit. and i didnt say i couldnt. but im guessing several other dudes that were there could.
 
hmm i see everyone hate on snowmobiling taking over airtime, but its frustrating seeing people hate on this guy.
What i mean is, please dont hate until you have actually had some experience on a snowmobile. Learning to even hill climb properly takes a lot of skill and courage in itself.Snowmobiling is one of the hardest, tiring, strenuous sports I have ever done. Its definitely not anything easy. I have respect for anyone jumping those at all. Its a scary machine with lots of power. Im pretty sure the sled that guy was using could beat a Viper in a drag race... thats how much power it has.I have mad respect for what that guy did and sure he didnt land it and it didnt count, but still that was insane.
And to the guy ripping apart snowmobilers and how they are "red kneck and white trash," you pretty much dissed a large majority of the ski industry.
 
cause he had a 50/50 chance of getting seriously fucked up and he managed to pull it around and not get fucked up is why he claimed. i think that took so much balls and i bet that jump wasnt even meant for dub backs, just like the slopestyle course wasnt built good.
 
they can never compare him to travis pastrana. And to quote above he iddn't' land and still claimed it. He should have manned up and tried again.

I couldn't agree with you more on them pressuring him into doing the trick. Brian Degan faced the same deal a few years ago to do his 360 roll in moto best trick and runined himself tryin. However Pastrana is not the only one that's done Double backs on a dirt bike.

Scott Murry's first double at about 2:10 He has done a few and had lots of bad attempts. The guys a beast.
