Snowmaking

so basically ive got a nice chunk of land and some rails and such and im thinking of building a snow gun from the plans on www.snowathome.com so has anyone done this?

how hard is it to get them to work?

and how much water and electricity does it use? (not a huge issue but if someone knows it would be awsome)

My brother and I almost built one in high school. Then we moved to land with no hill.

A guy I know has one and he does a service around chirstmas/new year where he can promise people a white one. You would be surprised who wants one. It helps if you live in an area that his hit or miss on the snow though and has rich people with kids. you can make some easy cash, as long as it is cold, and it can cover a lot of the cost of running it when you need to the rest of the winter.
