well its almost 9 am and im at school. i just checked stevens and snoqualmie pass. both are getting dumped on!!!! its sticking on the roads and everything. time to celebrate!!! lets just hope it doesn't melt.

We've finally seen a little bit of snowfall - ok, just a trace - and now forecasts are calling for another high pressure system to move back in for the weekend. HOWEVER, early next week the high pressure should break down, the Jet stream move back into position and a series of storms is potentially coming our way mid-next week

New good news and bad news from the King5 weather center. Two storms heading our way that will bring huge rain throughout all next week. The catch? Local highs in the 50s! Yeah, suck. We'll be lucky if snoqualmie opens at all

thats true, usually because they take the snow level they predict, which is higher than it usually is, and take the snow level from the south, and it too is higher than it usually is, and then they average the two. so like a 5000' snow level is really like 3000' mid cascades, if that, usually, sometimes its correct on accident
