Yes they do make snow.

I have made snow for 3 years.

I design the guns.

It is possible to make your own gun but like I did it took me a while to actually make good snow.

Ask some more questions I'll answer them.

i would but its still 60 here. I have some video of it 2 years ago I'll go look for that. If I was at home I could get some pictures from last year. I'll do that monday.

search google

an electric pressure washer would work they are about $125 on google last time i checked

no actually i'm not. most people have access to some sort of compressor and people who want to use the large probably could get one

that one is a ripoff!!! my dad got one just like that for our motorhome instead of using our gas one to wash the bikes, and it was like 80 bucks.

i would totally buy one of those, if i see it in action, but idk cas i do live 10 minutes from my mountain and i will have my licence in like half a year.

in order to make the snow...do use use a air compressor and a pressure washer then have them mix and then it goes?

So how much would it cost to get one of these up and running (Large) with a compressor and pressure washer included? Like $250 US?

Sweet... This is really tempting. I could set it up and leave it overnight when it's cold enough, then get up early and start building, hopefuly being able to ride before it melts.

I'll send you an email if I still have money after buying my skis :)

Oh sweet, I just remembered we got a pressure washer, and a neighbour up the street has a compressor :D

I'll see if I could "borrow" that comp for the winter.... :D

for the small gun all you need is a compressor for the air? and for the water can you use just a regular garden hose?

i just made mine for like 40 bucks canadian and thats all from home depot...two ball valve, ruducers...everything...hella easy to make...and all i did for the tip, got a 1/2" female cap and drilled a few holes in it..works dope...

what would produce more snow, 2 smalls, or one large, o wait, neverming, youd have to buy too pressure washers and two compressors for the 2 smalls

i havent tested it yet becasue it is still like 12 degrees out in the day and i havent had the chance to mix compressed air into the water yet...so i am going to just wait until the temp. drops more

if anyone has any questions about shipping or pricing that cannot be answered by looking at the page let me know i'm glad to help

i am working on a new design. it will be 2 nozzles and put out 1-3 inches per hour. i will test it when it gets cold enough within a few days and post some pics of it working

i think ima try to make a big one my friend has a air compresor thats taller than me and a really nice pressure washer, and he skis to hell yeah were gonna make a badass one cause his dad is a sculptor so he knows how do this kinda stuff good i'll tell yall if it works good enought to waste the money on....

peace

try it let me know but if u take my idea i will personally hunt u down and kill u how does being a sculptor have anything to do with making a snowgun other than that i'm glad people are getting intrested

well it does its pretty simple it just forces the water out fast enough to break it apart then it freezes and sticks together and its snow

just figure if there is no wind then a 30 ft by however far it travels its like a triange but upside down it goes from small area to large

If it just forces it out a pipe, why couldn't you just put a pipe on the end of a pressure washer? What exactly does the air do?

man for the small one you don't need a pressure washer. you should have just put a garden hose adapter on it. you can just use a compressor and a regular garden hose. the pressue washer is not needed....atleast it shouldn't be, otherwise your holes in the cap are too big/too many/too close together
