this saturday me and a few friends are driving up to snow park niagra for some pre-season play time

i know that they have some snow there (man made of course) but i think the main sliding surface is gonna be snowflex.

ive never ridden snowflex before, and i was just curious as to how different its gonna feel from regular snow? should i sharpen my edges or anything? i dont usually wear gloves when i ride (even in the winter) but will this stuff fuck my hands up if im not wearing gloves?

Its weird stuff, been to the one in va, definitely no edge hold, its like sliding on ice without chatter. Definitely wear gloves, long pants and a long sleeve shirt.

^ Yep, you will definitely need all the above. It is really weird at first because there really is no chance of holding an edge on it all.

I would def. wear long sleeves, maybe even a jacket pending the temp. snow pants are a good idea, and you should def wear gloves. Your skis wont need any special tuning, and you'll love snowpark im sure, I'll be there working, so be sure to say hi

WEAR GLOVES!!!! Also it doesn't matter really if your edges are super sharp or not, but word of caution it is kinda slow for some features.
