Snowden Traitor or Patriot?

If I wanted to share something from an NDAA, I'd post a link to the actual NDAA, in the version that passed. You know, because that would actually carry some weight in an argument.

If Snowden got up in front of the American people and said that he was leaking these files because it was wrong, the American government could not hurt him. Any deviation from text book trial would have resulted in those in the justice Department loosing their jobs if not their own freedoms. The President would likely resign, IOT avoid impeachment.

You are a clueless idiot who needs to get some fresh air.

I guess i just have less faith in the government than you do. I feel that with the help of the media swaying things as needed, the government can get away with just about anything.

Snowden's the fucking man. The reason he didn't stay in the US or a US friendly country was because he wanted to be able to participate in the discussion that would inevitably ensue from his revelations. Kinda hard to do that from inside a federal supermax or 6 feet under. Go read about what the plumbers were going to do to Daniel Ellsberg after he released the Pentagon Papers. Or what the feds did to NSA whistleblower William Binney back in 07. That shit is small potatoes compared to what would have happened to Snowden if he stayed in the US.
