Snowboots

So a very very girly question.. but does anyone have any advice on decent snowboots?

I need something practical for work everyday in the snow but not super super ugly ha!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated?

I wear my sorels to class everyday in the winter. they raaawwwwkk.

so many models too so you can find whatever look ya want. well worth the money I know people who have had them fo years!
 
I've been curious about this too. I've always worn uggs but i've never really liked them. They're nice to just slip on after skiing, but I think this year I'm gonna go out and get something better.
 
i got myself a pair of winter blundstones. Their warm, and amazing and i wear them every day and look solid with a pair of jeans, or thick wolly socks and leggings. highly recommended.
 
I bought Sorels last season, both for work and to/from the hill. I couldn't believe I wasted years schleping around in soggy sneakers. SO worth it for good ones. I have the slimmer, less clunky ones.
 
I can also vouch for Sorels for being a solid choice. I've had a pair for the past two seasons and wear them all the time in the winter, there are some pretty cute ones! Also been kind of looking at tretorn shoes, I haven't tried them on or anything but they are goretex..I think they look pretty bad ass. But they are probably more of a street shoe than a deep snow shoe.

Hm. Definitely read the title of this thread as 'Snowboobs' instead of 'Snowboots'. Not that I'm complaining.

But to add something more intelligent to the conversation - Sorels and Merrells make some pretty kick ass boots. I personally have two pair of Sorels and my roommate has a pair of Merrells.
 
Sorel makes so many awesome boots, Ive been wearing mine for the last 3 years, and been really hard on them. I couldn't be happier with them, but I've got my eye on some new ones. I like their boots way better without the silly fuzz on top. I want.

I wear Mukluks... they're moose hide, kind of pricey at first but they've lasted me 6 years so far? Warmest boots in the world!

I was thinking of getting some Tims... Are they waterproof? Warm?

I have been rocking Uggs but actually fucking hate them and I am waaaay too old for that shit. I've just been too lazy to find anything better.

Right now it's looking like Tims or Sorels...

I too had this issue so I just cut the fur off. I have the Cate the Great from 3 years ago so the fur was attached to the top of the liner. Made it super easy to trim it off and now they look much better.
