Honestly, after looking at the x-games, including skier-x. Skiing looks way dumber than snowboarding. This is a semi-troll comment but it's the truth.
I've designed my own skis and am in the process of building another pair for gnarlier skiing - all without poles. I'm glad I've done this.
I would never go back to skiing in its current state - I would go to snowboarding. The only thing where skiing is cooler than snowboarding is in moguls. That still means a lot for me but snowboarding looks way steezier - skiers look like gangly retards in comparison.

I'm glad I watched the x-games. I honestly was disgusted at how steezy today's snowboarders look and how far that modality has come.
Another thing, snowboarding is old news in a way. It's sort of retro. If you do it, you're not automatically a try-hard like in the past.

That said, I neither fear nor hate you. I find you annoying. I disagree with pretty much everything you have contributed since you've started posting on NS. All of the feedback you've received on NS has been negative and it's clear there is no market for your product here.
