Snowboarder Story

I completely forgot about my snowboarder story when I posted the ski patrolman one. So the same day that story happened, a snowboarder got on the rope two like 3 people behind me. We get to the top, I get off and stop to get my poles in order and I turned around for some reason. Right when I turn around, some snowboarder drops the rope on his board, which catches on his bindings, locking him to the rope (which is going fairly fast). He gets flung into a solid steel pole at the full speed of the rope wrapping his whole body around the pole. The rope stopped for like 15 minutes and he eventually got carried off in a stretcher and I think his board was screwed up.

I couldn't help but laugh. I'm probably going to hell for laughing at someone getting flung into a steel pole at like 10 mph but it was some seriously funny shit.

i watched a maybe 8-9 year old gaper get dragged 35 feet by the front of his pants.

this kip was just rolling over the otherwise perfect lip of a 25 foot step down.

this kid was so stupid. it would take him 5 handles to grab on. after about 12 laps of him cutting people off and gapering around, he somehow catches his pants on the c-bar of the tow. the idiot liftie was blazed and zoning, so he didn't notice it. at all. the kid eventually fell off and just lay there.

he left the park after that. didn't comeback.

i'm telling you.

the day the gapers learn to use the rope tow, is the day we are in trouble.

Snowboarders suck. Especially the ones that sideslip down the slope taking the good snow off of moguls and other shit.
