Does it seem to you guys that snbowboarders are spinning to win these days like we used to do back in jibbings early days. Like in the x-games they are all throwing like 10's and 12's and a lot of them don't look that good. I think it is kinda sumb. Rodeo 5's on a snow board are like the sickest things and it is sad to see them move away from this.

 
that one kid threw a shitty 1260 with most of the last 180 in the pipe. I don't understand why snowboarders don't spin as 1 unit. Its like there arms and legs spin at different times. A couple of the guys look good spinning but others are just not good looking.

but seriously, they may spin big, but its ugly as hell, there feet are way behind their body, and at the last second they whip them around, it looks really bad

 
lateralis i didnt hat on the boarders i just say it s hella ugly. I still gots lotsa respect for them and the for the most part have hella nice style but i just dont get why they are throwin that style away.

 
Not all snowboarders look wack while spinning. And as far as huge spins, 1260 and up, there is no time for style and grabbing is clutch. Watch some park riding. Park spins tend to be cleaner than pipe spins. Go see Full Metal Edges or Afterbang. In after bang, as a joke, someone spins like a 1260 over like a 6 foot table.

its all part of the evolution of the sport i guess... just hardcore spinning... i can slowly see skiing falling into it

i think they're tryin to progress to catch up with skiers. i have heard many arguments stating that skiers do bigger spins
