Snowboard only comp. NEED HATE TRAIN

so this company called Lifted decided to have a rail jam at the mountain near my house and i was stoked to compete. then i got there and it was snowboard only so im pretty pissed at this company.
could you guys help me let these guys know know how lame they are by commenting on the comps pictures on facebook. the more pro-skiiing comments the betterhttp://http://www.facebook.com/album.php?fbid=208160059196805&id=100000084366319&aid=56565

also if you have any more ideas on how to let these guys know that theres skiers out there that would be great
 
Or, alternatively, you could NOT be an immature prick on their facebook page and maybe send them an email explaining why your'e upset, and requesting that next year they include skiers. Getting a bunch of 14 year old skiers to rant on facebook is only going to make them want you in their rail jam less.

what your saying is completely ignorant. before this event i would have shopped at their store and supported them. they had crowbars, hats, headphones etc as prizes for the events, which are all things skiers could enjoy. this makes me think that the store also had things skiers could use. what you posted has no relation in competition, seeing as though they would have to make no changes to the event to let skiers in but they would have to redo the event to let "sleddogs" in.
dont say stupid shit just because events at your mountains allow skiers and snowboarders

ANYWAYS... i took some1's advice to email them and i did that, i was very polite and i asked them nicely to add skiers next year and told them that skiers might give them business if they did this. i also emailed labrador mountain and told them how unhappy skiers were that day specially the ones that showed from far away to compete and couldnt.
if anyone has any more ideas or is willing to add to my cause thanks a lot and +K and to everyone else i dont really care what you think because you have most likely never been kicked out of a competition you were looking forward to all year.
 
Some comps are boarders only, some comps are skiers only, some comps are boarders and skiers. That's just how it is.
Now it's a completely different story if it was a mixed comp of skiers and boarders and a skier was throwing down the hardest without a doubt, but was not given first place just because they were a skier.
Complaining on Facebook isn't going to solve anything at all besides reveal you as a whiny brat. Like I said, some comps are meant for only boarders, some only skiers, and some a mixture of both skiers and boarders.

same kinda thing happened at my mountain. there was a rail jam sponsored by 2 snowboard shops, they let skiiers compete which was cool and all. But when it came time for prizes my friend won and they gave him a bottle of champagne and were yelling it over the mega phone, then did a huge product toss, finally they just read off a sheet of paper who got 1st 2nd and 3rd for skiiers. Also it was the first rail jam i won this year and i was super stoked but kinda let down that we didn't get anything. I didn't really care i didn't get a tee shirt and some stickers for 1st place it was more like a slap to the face that we didn't get anything at all. Anyways it was just kinda gay but whatever
 
Well you can never go wrong with tall tees. Your pants swag definatly could use some improvement. Also your cranium area looks a bit off. Other than that you look like a certified skier. I know I've been posting to much, I've been bored. I try to make worthwhile posts though.
 
i heard it was a fucking joke anyways, and the setup was pretty weak. i might have seen you skiing the park after it had ended tho, do you always wear that silver helmet with the brim?

Deal with it. Its a snowboarder only rail jam. Its not like thats the only rail jam in the world. I'm sure there are plenty of other rail jams that include skiing. No need to get all whiney over it.
 
TO EVERYONE WHO SAYS FOR ME TO GIVE UP,
hey guys, i care about something and it is skiing park including competitions. im terribly sorry that you all dont give a fuck and just want me to forget about it but.... IM NOT GOING TO. i want this company to hear the skiers voice and im sorry that, apparently, NS will not represent the skiers voice. i really dont care about a single person who does not support letting lifted know how we feel because i will continue on my cause. by the way its called standing up for something and its been done in the past so everyone who says that making yourself heard doesnt get anything done should really take a history course.
you can all stop posting "haha lolz they will never let you in their comp" because that is only true if skiers dont do anything about it. i know the majority of NS is young and possibly immature and cannot understand that letting a company know that they are loosing business because of something they do may make them REACT, but for the remainder of you please help lifted know that we are watching by posting a PRO-SKIING comment on their pictures of the competition so that next year skiers may be able to compete.
LASTLY, to everyone who says there is ski only and board only rail jams, at my mountain there is not. and therefore you argument means nothing. there has never been a skier only rail jam at my mountain.
and if you keep hating this just gets bumped again any some1 who cares might see it so HI HATERS

 
Deal with it man, it happens. Not every contest is going to be for both skiers and snowboarders.

I snowboard and we held a ski only contest at the end of the season. But we had plenty of contests for everyone before that.

Like look at the freeski open, or the redbull buttercup. If you want to ski find a contest at another mountain. Don't whine and bitch.
 
Dude whatever, if they want to have a snowboard only comp let them, if would suck for skiers because nothing is built how the want it
 
Listen you need to chill out bro. I was there and we had plenty of fun in the empty park and then they opened up the set up afterwards so you didn't miss anything. Also, bitching on their facebook page is the most immature and inefective thing you can do. If it really bothered you you should of been down there with the group of skiers watching and talking face to face to the actual organizers.

Also, I would suggest talking to Lab about a possible skier only comp.
 
Did you even read my post? Send them a thoughtful email expressing your concerns. Spamming Facebook, whether it be with "positive skier comments" or "negative snowboarder comments" isn't going to do JACK SHIT.
