Snowblading

you guys are so full of yourselves. learn to have some respect. if i wanna switch to skiing from boarding i'm having seconds thoughts seeing wat kinda a-holes skiers are.
 
snowblading is gay, but at least they were ripping and making fun of it. it would be cool to spin an 1880 or something...
 
it looks almost pointless. the spins looked like shit, the rails looked like shit, the skiing itself looked like shit. snowblades make a good skiier look bad.
 
lol it actually doesn't seem half bad i might try it for a couple of hours but defs not the whole day. Might be a good way to try tricks tho

You can do everything you can do on skiblades on skis....the only thing making skis that short does is make it harder to get speed and make them less stable. Why would you limit yourself but using those pieces of shit for anything else other than fucking around.

I'm not agianst fucking around on them having a good time- that video was actuallt pretty sweet. However, anyone who thinks skiblading is a legitimate sport is a gaper who doesn't have the skill or balls to pick up a real pair of skis.

You don't see matt hoffman riding the pipe on a tricycle.
 
actually no he stopped making them because more people were getting interested in free skiing than skiboard, and once they started making skis, they made crappy snowblades.
 
so what you're saying, it's a fun recreation, just not a sport because you disapprove of it?

and fyi, some BMX riders made some park-worthy trikes a few years back
 
hahaha yeah. Thier snowblades got a lot longer, faster, and more sidecut. They became easier to get big air on and actually carve turns. Although they would be hard to use if you couldn't ski for shit and were used to dancing around on some glorified iceskates. i'm rockin some 181cm snowblades right now.
 
Judging by your videos, you shouldn't be throwing stones.  Those bros fucking around, who were probably drunk were throwing cleaner shit on their 99cm sticks than anything that you did.  But I am not one to judge.

If you want to call it a sport its a sport. Still, no matter what you say skiblades don't compare to skiis...its a fact of life. If you are trying to tell me that gaperblading is a separate respectible sport you're fucking dumb. They are basicaly skis that suck ass. Comeon dude - its like telling me that your 45 year old grimey fatass crackhoe w/crabs and smells pits is as fun to fuck as the 21 year old perfect 10 model I fucked last night... and again this morning.
