StartFragmentyo utah! so my buddy and I are trekking it out toutah from colorado to put the 'greatest snow on earth' to the test :D in thefirst week of jan. Stoke factor!! We're planning on hitting snowbeezy, so tell me,wise mormons, what are some 'must hit' bird lines/drops at this relativelyjuvenile part of the season? It seems you shouldn't be pressed for snowthen....any worth while suggestions will be rewarded with copious amounts ofkarma and prayers for utah snowps. the bar has been searched. EndFragment

there is a massive smoke shack.

its awesome.

like, 3 stories.

theres a lot of cliffs too. hopefully we'll get some snow for ya.

TigerTail is sick, Gad 2 is decent, and Bookends has some good drops. Hopefully we'll have some decent snow by then.

try the cirque that has some sick drops and lines hopefully we will get more snow by then so it will be better

Pipe line. Although it probably won't be open by then, if they open it up. But you should have a great time finding shots up there, bookends can offer some pretty great stuff around that time if we have enough snow.

Hit up lower north baldy if any of it is hittable by then. Or if you don't mind hiking hike to the top of north baldy. Thats were they have the finals during the Freeskiing Championships. Pretty sick terrain.

Haha yeah Baldy = death right now.
Gad 2 will definitely be open, as will Peruvian and probably Mineral by then. Hard to tell. It's been super fun lately but drop me a pm when you are going to the bird, I am there every powder day.

Probably mineral you say? Is that on the south-facing side?

Either way, you guys got 40 inches in the same storm that gave us 10. damn. haha.
