Snowbird Chinese downhill

I'm putting it together, 125 people maximum, full tram. Top of the tram start, end of the ski bridge finish. I'll need help with the logistics, but I'm thinking either midwinter sunny morning first tram or sunny spring day after warming so as to have the best going fast conditions, whatever way down is fastest, winner gets something cool TBD, I'll need your guys help figuring that out too.

Whoever wants in, PM me your deets and I'll put a spreadsheet together. If I get at least 50 people, I will find a day to make this happen somehow.
 
Added to the rules, considering shotgun to gear grab start, or to make it more interesting, it could be you just have to finish the beer by the end of the race

When I came out here 10 years ago it seemed so cool and awesome, and now it's uptight as hell. This should help remind people of what skiiing really means. A good fun rowdy time

Edit, since skierman is being a douche and I'm not risking a season's pass this early, event will be organized at a later time closer to springtime.

Edit on top of edit, join the fb group below, and this will be happening. Organization is happening now, first 125 people are in. Invite friends if they want since TRVP is right in that finding 50 newschoolers at once is difficult apart from polls

No he’s played drinking and driving on Mario kart. By far the best drinking game of all time and he has a good idea. It makes people either chug at the beginning, end, or find strategic times when they feel it’s okay to stop mid-run and chug some beer. It adds a fun element to the game and isn’t a bad idea at all. I’d be down for that rule if I were anywhere near snowbird lol

Been thinking maybe the start should be the top of the cirque, as opposed to top of the tram since it's harder to do a fair start with that many people from the top of the tram. What do you guys think? Or just gear drop as in this vid?

Skier from northern cali. Im intrigued. I know it's a long shot but I just might make it 2 utah around this time and I'd would love 2 take part in this. How bad would it suck for you boys if a tahoe boy come and took this???? All in good fun yea?

I love the gear drops. Makes it look like such a commotion, however that may be difficult to organize without approval

There's literally nothing snowbird can do if we all make it to the top of the tram apart from trying to pull everyone's passes at the bottom. Does anyone want to be at the finish line to see who the winner is?

Ye, I can. I haven't been skiing in a while so it's probably for the best.
