Today was one of the best I've had at snowbasin. Huge crew of people mobbin down the mountain.

Dedicate this thread to those who want to join in on the shenanigans hopefully in the near future.
 
whats the snow situation lookin like up there? some dude told me last week that basin is closing soon. hopefully this storm tomorrow/Tuesday will set up northern Utah/The cottonwoods. PC is a lost fucking cause at this point. nothing worthwhile to ski there now. same story for canyons, too.

They plan on staying till april 11th-12th weekend. Apparently they are closing their bottom park which has their jumps after today. Idk maybe from this snow they'll keep them up or put in some new rails but there has been a decent size crew each time I've gone up and it's pretty worth it.

after going to PC over spring break I can say basin has some decent features that aren't as destroyed as PC. Couldn't believe the status of some rails at PC with dents and shit in them.

its a blast for what its worth. lots of fun little grass gaps and shit to jump over, just gotta watch out for all the spring breakers. I have honestly never seen this many uncoordinated awful skiers in one place all at once. I hate to bag on shitty skiers but there are a dangerous amount of people out there that do not know what they are doing, and pose a big threat to others around them. You do not want to be caught in that end-of-the-day scramble back down to the parking lot.

I'm copping an epic pass next season. But for sure man, sad basin had to close pretty early. This thread should be used for other homies in the future. There's definitely potential to have an awesome crew here, and if the park manager put some more effort into this place.

I'll be getting a Park city/canyons pass as well as the basin. Ya it really could be the park manager should be gone within the next few years the other park workers I've chatted with them about him and he doesn't give them any choice and they would actually put up some really cool stuff if he wasnt holding them back...
