Snowbasin having the dew tour!

what if they build it just for the contest and then knock it down right away after it is over?
 
They didn't do that to any of the courses this year so i don't see why they would.
 
anyone know where they will have it ...i doubt it will be where the park was last year over by strawberry...
 
probably off of needles where its easy for spectators to access, thats a large part of why it was chosen I'm sure, then again I hear they are running a road up to strawberry as well.
 
not that i would no or anything, but strawberry is where all of the parks will be except for the begenner lil cat park, the half pipe will also be over there, but thats not what i heard and am not supposed to tell but who knows what will happen.
 
Word is that it will be on Elk Ridge over on Strawberry. Maybe not the Dew Tour setup, but a legit park nonetheless. Although, talk is cheap and Basin talks a lot....
 
Its going to be off of the top of city hill...instead of going straight down city hill you go right kind of above where old little cat was. I forget what they call that run. I know this for a fact i know a lot of people who work up there...and it is Snowbasin so they do everything different so they will in fact tear the course down after its over...they are pussies and its "to much of a liability" (direct quote from head of ski patrol and risk managment dude). Don't get your hopes up for a legit park cause it won't happen Snowbasin is to afraid of the risks...plus all the gapers that ride there i can see why. You put a 60 ft table up there and i can count on my hands the only people who ride at that mountain that could legitimately hit it and not get hurt...basin isn't ready for a park scene...too many dumb asses
 
true, i can only think of like 4 skiers that could hit it do stuff, but still getting a day on that park will be alot of fun.
