This new game SNOW, i was so pumped to play this game on steam early access!! Then i opened steam and saw that it was only for windows.

I HAVE A MAC. Im really pissed off about the mac racism that goes on with gaming.

Anyone else run into this problem?

Oh my god just use bootcamp.

Bootcamp is already on your mac, and I'm sure you can find a copy of windows. SNOW runs great on my mac.

Im not amazing with computers.... how does this work?^ Will downloading the Windows Steam version of the game, be converted to be playable on a Mac by Bootcamp? I really don't know

Newsflash: Most games are developed for PC. If you want to be a fucking hipster be prepared to do a little extra work to play games.

Basically Bootcamp just turns your mac into a windows machine upon boot up. You will need a windows disk probably(although I've heard people can do it from an external drive with an image of windows) and your disks that came with your mac.

Look up an online tutorial on how to do it. It's pretty easy, took my machine roughly an hour to install. You then hold the "option" key when you hear the startup sound each time to choose whether or not to go into windows. Otherwise, it boots into OSX by default.

dude, bootcamp, i can play battlefield 3 at highest settings on it, costs 60 bucks at the most for a windows 7 copy.

im using it until i can save up 800 or so, so i can make an epic gaming computer.

You don't seem to understand how a game works on a computer.

As said already, bootcamp your mbp it takes about an hr and is super easy just do some research.

no bootcamp creates another operating system. to switch out from each one just shut down the computer than hold option button and you can choose what operating system you want to use.

on a side note, windows fucking sucks to use for anything but gaming.

if you're a fucking idiot

I've had my desktop for about a year now, its running as good as the day i bought it.

Morons like OP deserve their own self misery they put themselves into by their own ignorance of the world around them. Burn in loathing you retard mac faggg.

im getting a mac soon and it doesnt bother me...it is what it is. im wiling to give up that game for in my opinion a better longer lasting computer. inb4 Mac v Windows

Mac's are great for things and suck at somethings just like PC's are good at things and suck at things too. PC's have ruled the computer gaming market for well ever. If you have a mac deal with it and use boot camp like its been said 10 times but don't get mad because im sure you knew that PC's ruled the gaming world going into buying your mac.

a year? what..

saying that your computer hasnt fallen apart after a year = PC's don't slowly fall apart?

badlogicisbad

Ahhh, I remember when I built my first gaming computer and though that having neon lights would make it look cool. I still have it and now I realize how disgusting it looks.

Don't do it. In two years you'll think it looks likes shit. There's something to be said about subtlety.

Cool. I'll just wait a year for them to get the bugs out, and play shredsauce in the meantime.

strange they would charge money for the unfinished version, then give it away free in a (hopefully) more completed state.

it's early access so ... yeah

i do see your point though ... it will be free but people that don't want to wait will pay and they are still working on it so the people that pay get to see it develop and etc.

Not strange at all.. considering they're not making money and need to be to continue making the game. The game isn't complete so people who want to particapate in the process pay 15$ to help the game proceed. It only makes clear logical sense. I don't get why people do not understand this.

what he said.

if you want to help make this game what this entire community has been asking for, pay the $15 (which is a damn bargain for the amount of time you could spend it the game) Early Access and help us improve features by providing feedback.

or, wait until next year and have no real say in the way the game feels/plays by then. We know who purchased the Early Access and will always love them more than those that didn't :)

Game can be found here:http://store.steampowered.com/app/244930/

I've had my laptop for 3 years, still going strong. I also have a desktop that is anywhere from 10-12 years old that still runs perfectly.
