Well shit. paradise, stevens, and king5's stuff doesn't show up as the current image, but if you click on them they do...

meh

GOBOMA!!

If it was like 10 deg colder overall, this big mega thing on the doplar headed our way would be most excellent.

All the mountains would be opening this weekend. But no, its like 70 deg and going to flood everything.

i can feel it in my bones. it was cold this morning, but not for long....

at least it didn't snow like 50"+ then rain...

yea but right now its only the first 5 in. so we should be more than good later when we really get snow

according to what i read from the NOAA trend forecast, saturday should be the peak of the warmth, then work its way back colder from there.

naw I'm acutally just laughing my ass off at all you fools. snows a little bit and all of a sudden it is time for snow watch 08.09 and OMG we will be skiing by next week. lets all call opening days, horray horray.

and then in comes the big bad pinaple express and boo hoo all the sno is gone.

oh but wait, there be more snow at stevens pass this morn, too bad it will be gone by mid day tomorrow. oh well non of my gear is mounted any way.

Subject: Your Lucky Day

Today you get to stop me from killing myself by changing the weather

section of your website to heavy snow for the rest of the week. That

should keep me from blowing my brains out before the season starts, even

if I skip class and drive up only to see there is no snow. As long as

the forecast says otherwise, I will get continually excited each day

which should get me through until the season starts. Thank you,

Scott

Hi Scott,

Don't do anything too permanent, we will get snow!! Sometimes it just

likes to take its time in appearing. Everyone is getting anxious for

the snow to start flying, it is a test of patience. While today is

mostly rain, it turns to mixed snow every few minutes. It's still

considered early, so we have time. This on again off again snow is

quite normal for this time of year. Once it starts in earnest, we can

get it fast, so take heart, it will be here.

Sincerely,

Cindy Jackson

i was up at stevens today. it was pretty fun. setup a little cone bonk, and then went to the upper lot my brooks and hit the flatbox. pics up lata

nice. stoked for pics, Grant and I were thinking of heading up but I did not think there would be any snow. Oh well homework and saying hi to grandma is allways good.

Went into econ and it was cloudy.

Came out an hour later and it snowing, there is like 3 feet outside my dorm right now.

And my new Donner Party's came, I'm about to go pick them up.

does anyone really think baker will open on the 15 like how they are planing to if they have around 20-30 inches???

The website says nothing, I heard a rumor that Duncan wanted to open this Friday, but judging by the warm temps predicted and the rain up there, I'd say that's a no.

what does this mean i also saw it on the weather channel last night for the ski reports next to baker it said open at the 15"November 15 - start of season: updated once daily Mon-Fri, and additional updates if there is any significant snowfall or weather update"http://www.mtbaker.us/index.php/snow-report
