Snow in Drumheller

anyone know how much snow Drumheller gets in winter, on average? skiable or no? Are there any rules against playing on the slopes due to erosion and stuff?

The south facing side is usually pretty bare but you'll find pockets on the north facing side. If you were driving through and had your skis, sure why not.

This is an interesting idea, I work in Kindersely sk and when I get 2+ days of standby I make a trip through drum on the way to banff. Let me know if you try this out and I will do the same.

Kindersley is the worst. Actually, that whole drive (Saskatoon to Calgary) is the worst.

They have a local ski hill so some of the slopes must hold snow and be rideable. I have several friends who grew up skiing there and I never got the impression that the snow was much to get excited about, and now that I look into it it seems like the hill may have gone bankrupt.
